Compensation & Benefit Program
Gryphon Environmental, LLC Safe Harbor 401(k) Plan
Available to all employees, the Safe Harbor 401(k) Plan allows you to defer a portion of your income to your own personal account on a pre-tax basis, which lowers your taxable income by an amount equal to your savings. The plan allows for flexibility in investment choices with a variety of funds. Participation is available immediately upon employment.
Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
Full-time employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in a Medical Insurance Plan with a choice of deductibles. Dental and Vision insurance is also available. Coverage is available 90- days from your date of hire.
Short Term- and Long-Term Disability
Full-time employees are provided both short term and long term disability insurance at no cost. Both plans replace a substantial portion of the employee’s income.
Part-time Employee Benefits
Employees regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical and dental insurance, flexible benefit plans, life and disability insurance, bereavement leave, and receive 75 percent of the full-time vacation, sick leave and holiday paid time off programs.
Gryphon's Safe Harbor Matching Contribution
The Safe Harbor Plan allows for a company supplemental contribution, which is currently set at 4%. Gryphon’s 401(k) matching contribution is a cash contribution calculated each pay period, deposited into your account and invested in the funds of your choice.
Full-time employees are provided term life insurance and accidental death or dismemberment coverage at no cost. A separate policy covers accidental death while traveling on company business. Additional voluntary term life insurance for the employee, spouse and/or children is available to employees at very reasonable rates.
Paid Time Off Programs
Based on length of service with the firm, employees accrue a generous amount of vacation and sick leave bi-weekly. Paid Bereavement Leave and Holiday pay are also available as separate paid time off programs.
